First training: C1 was held in Torino, Italy in November 2016
Agenda of the training contained practical sessions for the first 3 modules of the blended learning toolkit: 1. Interpersonal communication, module 2. Learning to learn, module 3. Social and civic competences. Each module has been presented in details with essential aspects from layout and appearance to key concepts, contents, sources and relevant materials selection. Round table debates was held for each module and participats could offer direct valuable feed-back on each aspect debated. During this event, 3 sessions of practical activities have been organised, for each of the 3 modules. Participants could involve directly in the exercices, games and techniques, offering direct feed-back on them and debating on the quality and the quantity of these activities as part of the component C of the training toolkit - the guide for practical activities, destinated to teachers/trainers.
A special session for the e-learning Moodle platform has been included in the event (component A of the training toolkit). Participants could use special accounts to access the platform and learn/exercice various functions on how to use the platform. Extended amount of time has been spent with this activity and we concluded that using e-learning platform can be still problematic for trainers/teachers, therefore, further investigations have to be made at local level, with students learners in order to collect relevant feed-back from them and decide the usefulness and the accesibility of the platform later on.
Special meetings with local stakeholders (VET providers Egim Piemonte) have been organised by the host. The meeting showed a high level of interest from them, as VET providers for the final anticipated results of TRAIT, especially the toolkit.
